On the road of the Ex-Railway Framura-Bonassola-Levanto<\/strong>
From the center of Sestri Levante follow the signs for the ancient Roman road SS1 Aurelia towards La Spezia.<\/p>

Passing near the hamlet of Riva Trigoso<\/strong>, the characteristic seaside village of the City of the Two Seas, the climb begins that in about 16 km leads to the highest point of the route: the 615 mslm of the Bracco Pass.<\/strong> Except for a few short sections in the town of Sestri Levante, the route is never on a protected road, but traffic is light because most motorized vehicles pass over the highway. For a good stretch the road does not face the sea and remains shaded by typical Ligurian vegetation.<\/p>

Finished the pass begins a long descent ( about 13 km ) that leads to Framura<\/strong>, a beautiful and peculiar Ligurian town composed of 5 small medieval villages, here you can use the elevator to take you to the beginning of the bicycle and pedestrian path on the site of the Ex Ferrovia Framura – Bonassola – Levanto. From here for about 6 km flat, you arrive in Levanto<\/strong> where you re-enter traffic only to reach the train station on the way back.<\/p>

The route is suitable for everyone<\/strong>, for a section it coincides with the route indicated “B13 var. Moncenisio” by FIAB and accepted as the main backbone in the Ligurian Cycle Network ( RCLI ).<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
