From Sestri Levante on the Slate Cycleway<\/h1>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The route is very simple<\/strong> without excessive elevation gain.Starting from Sestri Levante<\/strong>, after driving along the SS1 Via Aurelia road in a northeasterly direction, we arrive at the Lavagna<\/strong> train station (15 minutes from Sestri Levante), where our route begins.
After a short stretch on the waterfront, we turn right along the Entella. At the height of the bridge over the Entella River between Parma Street and Corso Matteotti, the historic section of the Slate Cycleway is abandoned. Continuing on SP225, in the only particularly busy section of the route, it is possible to continue on the hydrographic<\/strong> right of the Entella River<\/strong> for several kilometers in which stretches of dirt, dirt road and asphalt alternate. On the dirt road, the black color of the slate<\/strong> in which the area is rich and which gives the name to the cycle route is evident. Between Pian dei Manzi and Pianezza we pass on the hydrographic left of the Entella River. Near Pezzonasca<\/strong> landslides are possible but easy to overcome, it is recommended to pass pushing the bike by hand. The stretch is well-marked by FIAB and, with minimal common sense, is not dangerous. It then continues to Gattorna<\/strong>, where you can stop at one of the village bars and restaurants. It is possible to return to the same cyclovia or to the provincial road on a downhill falsopiano.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
